The Atari Compendium© ST-Guide HYPertext is strict friendware.


In January 1998 we contacted Scott Sanders (The Atari Compendium© author)
and he prohibit any distribution of our Atari Compendium version.
So please don't share it.


And here you have some more background (if you like):

When we have got the CD ROM The Atari Compendium©, we have found out that
the main part is in HTML format. Because this format is not so useable for
Atari computers, we convert it to Holger Weets ST-Guide format.

When we had read the Front Page of The Atari Compendium© we decided to
write to authors & publishers, TOAD Computers, to give them the HYPertext
to distribute it on the CD or another way.

Unfortunatelly we didn't receive any reply :-(

So we decided to distribute this HYPertext as a binary patch to the CD
version, it is able to install it only if you have a CD named The Atari
Compendium© (First Revision). We hoped that it was enough not to cross
the copyright, but the reality is totally different. :-(

We take no responsibility for damage caused by using this HYPertext.
The infomation could be not accurate, although we tried to eliminate all
bugs mentioned in ERRATA file shiped on the CD plus some others that we
have found while converting.
