Syntax

WORD vs_mute( handle, action )
WORD handle, action;

Function      vs_mute() turns the sound generator on or off.

Parameters    handle specifies a valid workstation handle.
              action is the new sound generator flag:
                      0 = turn sound off
                      1 = turn sound on
                     -1 = leave unchanged

Return Value  Returns the previous sound flag.
