                            ASCII Tables


All Atari operating system calls use the Atari ASCII character set as the
default method for encoding text strings. Strings encoded in this manner
are composed of unsigned bytes representing a uniquely defined character
as the following table specifies. Unless otherwise noted, a NULL character
(ASCII 0) is used to indicate the end of string.
